Watering wisely

It's been way too long since we had a drop of rain. Somehow most of the plants out in nature seem to be getting by on the moisture of the morning dew and still look pretty green and perky. The garden, however, has needed more frequent watering from the well for many, many days now. It's made me thankful all over again for electricity to run the pump and for all those who worked so hard and long to restore power after the latest hurricane. Otherwise, I'd be dipping water out of the pond to keep the garden going, or giving in and letting it go. Water – there is no life without it!
