Watermelon Pickleball Tournament draws 115 players to Monticello

Hailey Heseltine ECB Publishing, Inc. Since its introduction just a few years ago, the Pickleball Tournament has become a popular addition to the lineup of annual Watermelon Festival events. This year was certainly no exception, drawing over 115 players to Jefferson County for a lively contest. Between the competitors and the 85 spectators, it was the tournament's biggest year yet. The Jefferson Recreation Park (1380 Mamie Scott Dr.) was bustling with activity all weekend long May 16 and 17,
