Good and not so good news for motorists who regularly travel on the Waukeenah Highway, also known as CR-259, which begins at the Leon County line near Cody and runs 14.6 miles through Jefferson County to U.S. 19.
The good news is that a 2.2-mile stretch of the road between Nash and Rabon roads is about to be resurfaced and widened. The not-so-good news is that drivers using the road will likely encounter detours and delays.
