On Friday, Aug. 25, the Aucilla Christian Academy (ACA) Warriors varsity football team hosted the Knights of Halifax Academy, from Daytona Beach, Fla. Like some other contests in the area, storms resulted in weather delays. The Warriors vs Knights game was called short with 5:38 remaining in the fourth quarter. At the time the game was called, the Warriors were holding
a slim 7-6 lead. The game was determined to be a “no contest,” meaning that neither team would go in the record books as the “winner” or the “loser.” According to the ACA coaching staff there is
no availability to reschedule the remainder of the game.
Josh Agner was named the Offensive Player of the Week for the Warriors. Ben Gamalero was the
Defensive Player of the Week. Aiden LaRosa was the Scout Team Player of the Week.
The Warriors are scheduled to be back
in action on Friday,
Sept. 1, as they travel
to Graceville, Fla. to play the Graceville High School Tigers.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Graceville High School is located at 5539 Brown St., in Graceville, Fla.
