What local 4-H youth have been up to lately

A big component of the UF/IFAS Extension service to Jefferson County is engaging local youth ages five to 18 in 4-H clubs and programs. 4-H is America’s largest youth development organization, having reached nearly six million young people of all beliefs and backgrounds nationwide in activities to build skills they'll use throughout their lifetime. Jefferson County currently has 130 students engaged in several local 4-H clubs, some of which meet after school at the extension office and others that meet at community locations. 4-H also guides many students to participate in the North Florida Fair and in public speaking contests.
