With COVID-19 still a concern, many people have been wondering if there will be any sort of fall festival/Halloween events to be had this Oct. 31.
With the event falling perfectly on a Saturday, it would be sad if there was nothing going on, so, luckily, there are a few events around that you can pack up the family and take them to for a fun night out!
For a fall festival right near by, you can head on down to the Church of the Nazarene, located at 1590 N Jefferson St. The event will start at 5 p.m. and last until 8 p.m. and there will be food, candy, games and fun!
Another local spot you can stop by is Aunt Louise's Farm. They've planted almost three acres of corn and have cut it into a maze for all to enjoy. There will be animals to see, pet and maybe even feed; a barrel train; a wagon ride; a rubber duck race and corn pits to play in, with many great photo opportunities included with entry. They will also be selling pumpkins as well as concessions. Entry is $10 per person, age three and under are free. For more information call Aunt Louise at (850) 251-7708.
If you're willing to travel a little farther, Calvary Tallahassee, located at 8614 Mahan Dr. Tallahassee, will also be hosting a fall festival! The festivities will start at 12 p.m. and last until 3 p.m. They will have food trucks, inflatables, a petting zoo, hayrides, games and candy!
Thankfully this won't be a year without festivals, despite the circumstances. So got out and enjoy yourselves this halloween at some of the nearby events!
