Local restaurants to stay open amongst new restrictions

On Saturday, March 21, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued an order to all Florida restaurants that required the establishments to close their dining rooms in order to slow the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus).
For many restaurants, this posed an dilemma and has forced local businesses to pursue take-out options rather than their dining-in opportunities.
While some restaurants have chosen to shut their doors until the COVID-19 threat is over, many locally-owned restaurants, cafes and eateries are the primary source of income for local business owners and their employees.
Now, more than ever, it is important to support local business.
In addition to food, restaurants are being permitted to sell off-site alcohol – meaning that when you order a meal to-go, you can also purchase a sealed container of beer or wine as well (just remember to drink responsibly).
