Will another storm soon be brewing in the Caribbean?

The good news is that the tropics remain quiet, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC). Nor does it foresee any storm activity developing within the next several days. All the same, the agency is reported to be monitoring four tropical waves, one of which has the potential of developing in the Caribbean and affecting already hard-hit Florida.
Meteorologists’ predictions are not unlike the reading of tea leaves, in that they interpret patterns to predict future weather events, only they do so with more sophisticated tools and scientific know-how.
