The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is contemplating the authorization of another legal bear hunt this year and is asking for public input on the consideration. In its December meeting in Lakeland, the FWC Board directed its staff to proceed with a proposal for another bear hunt, which document is expected to be ready as early as May.
