If you think the mail service is slow now, picture what it will be like if plans under consideration by top officials of the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) get implemented.
The plans, as reported recently in the Washington Post, entail allowing slower mail delivery to long-distance and rural service areas after the November election as a cost-cutting measure for the financially troubled agency.
The changes reportedly would give customers within a 50-mile radius of the USPS’s largest
