On Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, William “Reed” Curry, a beloved son, brother and grandson, passed away at the age of 15.
Reed was born on Jan. 25, 2005 in Tallahassee, Fla., to Dennis and Ann Marie Curry. He was a kind and loving young man who will be dearly missed.
Reed had a passion for anime, video games, his dog Kane and most importantly his family. He was known to be comical and could fix anything electronic, especially his Granny’s TV.
Reed is survived by his parents, Dennis and Ann Marie Curry; his sister, Keagan Curry; his grandparents, Henry and Teresa Hamlin, Dennis and Gail Curry and Kathy and Ray Reagan; his great-grandparents, Frances Roberts, Iris Hamlin and Maude LeMasters; his aunts and uncles, Garrett and Heather Hamlin, Christopher and Victoria Brown, Jeff and April Curry and Amber and Tommy Haynie; his cousins, Lauren, Ashlyn and Bailey Hamlin, Riley Barnes, Kassi and Kendal Haynie; and a host of other aunts, uncles and cousins. Reed was proceeded in death by his great-grandparents, John Roberts, RC and Hettie Hunter, and Walter P. Curry, and his aunt, Ramsey Brown.
A visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 23, at Beggs Funeral Home in Monticello at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Transforming Life Church at 11 a.m., located at 1206 Springfield Road, in Monticello. Burial will follow at the Waukeenah Cemetery.
The service will be live-streamed on the Transforming Life Church Facebook Page for everyone who cannot attend.
