The human body is an amazing thing. The average human baby is born with 52 teeth – 20 milk teeth and 32 adult teeth – all nestled together in the skull. Throughout different stages of a human being's life, different milk teeth are steadily replaced by grown up teeth as they fully develop. By the time an individual reaches full maturity, they will have 32 teeth: eight of which are incisors, four of which are canines, eight of which are premolars and 12 of which are molars.
