SnappHappy Cat Sanctuary will hold a yard sale fundraiser this weekend at 760 E. Washington St. at the corner of Rhodes Street, to raise funds for the cats in its care.
This fundraising effort will be held from 12 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, and possibly Sunday, Dec. 12. Everything must go! All items not sold will be donated to the Jehovah Rapha Ranch, a charitable organization that helps young men raised in foster care to get a new start.
All funds raised from this event will go directly to the feeding and medical care of the cats.
SnappHappy Farm is a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) facility. On average, four cats each week are spayed or neutered, always with the hope of finding a “fur”-ever and loving home. Several of these furry friends will make wonderful barn cats and great house companions.
This cat-saving effort can only be successful with the support of the community. Be a part of the solution for these helpless felines. Don't be a part of the problem. Get your cats spayed and neutered. There are vouchers to help with the cost. If you find a cat, ask for help.
Volunteers and donations are always needed. This is a charitable organization. Donations are tax deductible. Receipts for donations are available upon request. Donations may be dropped off this weekend or posted to SnappHappy Feral Cat Sanctuary, Inc., 3366 N. Salt Rd., Monticello, Fla. 32344 anytime.
Aluminum cans are another way to help with the cost of caring for the cats. Cans can be dropped off at the collection site on West Dogwood Street, behind Wag-The-Dog Thrift Store.

Thanks to all who have in some small way donated to the efforts of SnappHappy Cat Sanctuary. Your donations have helped with the care of hundreds of area cats, and it is very much appreciated.
